Re: Rolland Line mod problem

According to all the mod videos I have seen the silage extensions are for silage only.

Re: Plow Required After Corn Harvest

As an old timer I can say with certainty that plowing was done every harvest when I was growing up. We had mowers like the John Deere HX 20 that we chopped the corn stalks with then we plowed the stalks under and let the field sit all winter. We did that with all the fields every year.

Re: Stone valley seasons console

Considering that the last I worked on a farm was 1968 I have lost the knowledge of silage in any form. The Navy and a career as an over the road truck driver has left me sadly lacking in my farm knowledge if I can't read to get it.

Re: Are we having mod hub problems?

It can also come from the ethernet cable coming unplugged from the back of the console. :blushnew: I don't use wi fi. I don't even have the wi fi turned on on my cable modem. Too many neighbors close to me.

Re: Stone valley seasons console

@Illinois Farmer; does the rye silage provide the same nutrient quality as corn silage or grass silage?

Re: Are we having mod hub problems?

It must be slow internet. Just rechecked and am downloading grasslands for a look see. Will go to Sosnovka later. I liked Sosnovka in 17 better than I did Goldcrest Valley.

Are we having mod hub problems?

I noticed that 2 new maps and 5 updates were listed in the mod hub today, but when I started my Playstation 4 Pro there were no new maps or any updates listed. Did the mod hub break?

Re: A question for those of you who are farmers or grew up on a farm

Mwal I know that the John Deere guy went from a small SPF swine operation to a feeder operation where he is shipping a load of feeders a week to Hormel in the Quad cities from just north of Terre Haute, Indiana. His daughters are running the majority of the operation now so it could be the girls are...

Re: A question for those of you who are farmers or grew up on a farm

My dad was an auction nut. If there was a farm auction within 100 miles of home we went. We loaded several pieces of equipment on a flatbed trailer from them.

A question for those of you who are farmers or grew up on a farm

I am a retired truck driver that grew up on a farm in the 1950's & 60's. As we were a small operation we did not have fancy new equipment. The first tractor I remember having and using was a VAC Case 1945 model. The series was VA with the C designating a tricycle front end. The next tractor we had w...

Re: NON PC WORLD

Beanbrother: My dad would not let us heap the grain on our old truck. He said 6 cylinder gas engines were not stout enough and if you heaped it then grain would blow out of the bed. I think he was more worried about the grain than the engine.

Re: NON PC WORLD

As my last hands on farming took place in 1968 and 1969 I would say that what is missing most for me are the single rear axle farm trucks that would do both grain/seed/fertilizer & animals. We had an International Loadstar 1600 that had an 18 foot grain bed with livestock sides that made it 60 inche...

Re: IT Runner bodies not unhooking from trucks

Yes, all the IT Runner trucks, and the IT Runner trailers will hook up to them load the beds and drive around. When I go to unload the IT Runner beds they go off the truck and sit on the ground but pressing x to unhook does nothing.
