Re: Ingame Courseplay Editor is released

Excellent news. I believe this was availiable in the late stage of Courseplay 17, very useful.

Re: Dinamic sky

This is bothering me too. And to try to excuse it with "it's realistic with some variation in the cloud coverage" is ridiculous. The dynamic sky is quite decent where it is active, and has plenty of variation. The problem is that the dynamic sky doesn't cover the whole sky, only the part o...

Re: Whats your favorite job on the farm?

Anyone who says plowing is a liar! Honestly, plowing has its ups with the dynamic ground providing a furrow to follow. It is the only job where you really notice the tiny bit of dynamic ground FS does offer. That one person who voted lime spreading, though, is obviously a psychopath. I voted mowing...

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

Traditionally, every second FS release is a feature focused release, and the others are graphics focused releases. FS19 is a graphics focused release, and offers a huge step forward in graphics from FS17/15. FS17 looked identical to FS15, but offered a variety of new features, including forestry. FS...

Re: Seasons Help/tips?

That must be your rule of thumb. Realismus has always recommended 9 day seasons with 5x speed as a base. That is also what I use, works perfectly for me.

Re: Blowing the cobwebs off the base game classics

I fell out with the Fiat on day one, because it has a comparatively huge turning circle Exactly this. I love the look of this tractor, and I definitely have game saves where it would be put to good use, but for crying out loud, it has the turn circle of an average barn! Makes it absolutely useless.

Pretty sure it's the towbar mod making trouble again. It's always the towbar mod.

Re: Seasons question and answers thread

I use 9 days. Gives me time to do what needs to be done without rushing, and some extra. 9 days is also what Realismus recommends.

Neither have I, because I make sure it doesn't happen. I have read the Seasons manuals, though, where it says that it can happen. Now also confirmed by Rahkiin above.

Re: Seasons vs no seasons - time consuming

What benefits do you see for the playstyle OP describes in his post? I can't see Seasons being compatible to his style of play at all. I am not saying Seasons doesn't have benefits altogether. I am in the camp of "can't play at all without Seasons", so you'd be preaching to the choir telli...

Temperature is important in the sense that if you plant before the required temperature is met, and you later experience frost (there can be some cold days in springtime), crops will or may die.

Re: Seasons vs no seasons - time consuming

Simply put: If you play FS19 for the experience of driving the machines and make money by a quick turnover of crops, then no, Seasons is not for you. It will have no benefits, and only contribute to slowing down your gameplay.

Did you not read the op? I didnt qoute the op now did I :search: You did quote IceUul saying "Yes it is possible". "it" being "making a Ford truck model on console using a body style like the reallife version but with a different name", hence OP. So the answer to redgl...

Re: Yesmods! All it's cracked up to be?

So here is a question I have been wondering about. Do mod authors who release their mods on sites that have malware deserve respect? And this question comes from a mod author (for other games). All of my stuff has been released on a site that is incredibly strict about clean files and a clean site....

Re: The Future of Virtual Farming?

Exactly. Even in a slow tractor doing only 30kmh, you could cross the map in 8 minutes. With a car, it would just take a couple of minutes.
