Re: Dirt & Washing
The only reason I am aware is just personal preference. I chose to clean my tractors and equipment frequently - but that is just my choice. From what I observe in my area our farmer's tractors and equipment gets washed only when it rains as valhall stated.

Re: Screenshots
That is really great detail and could easily be mistaken as a real photograph.Nice job! In my part of the US power companies keep their poles a little distance from the road way and thus ends up in a field. I have only encountered one US map that had power poles in the field to contend with. Not sur...

Re: Course Play
I have the same problem starting a new map with courseplay in the mod file with the game freezing. My solution is to delete courseplay from the mod file then start the game with the new map. Next I do do a game save, shutdown, reinsert courseplay in the mod file and the restart the new map with the ...

Re: Most efficient way to unload combine
Today I control the combine with CP and unload it with the CP grain cart function. The grain cart dumps into a hauler that is controlled by AD. The current beta version of CP does a fairly reliable job with the grain cart function. I always cut a headland of two swaths when I start harvesting a fiel...

Re: Deere Country - The New Map from DJ Modding is very cool
Great tour. I interviewed for a position at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works Research Center and toured the plant many years ago.
Good job on the map tour.

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
@AJ, I wanna use that John Deere riding mower and I was thinking of cutting grass in town for the towns people, but want to find a place to get rid of grass. I know a few months back there was discussion on wether the hay barn bought grass or loose grass. Is that an option? I figure by selling the ...

@Deere317
Dang! Thought I was going to get rich. Usually the words care and politician don't belong in the same sentence - unless the care is for themselves.

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
Sorry about your wreck and injuries. I get upset with all the people that think the start of a red is still green and last fall my wife paid the price ending up in a wheel chair for three months. Just to keep the post legal I have a question for AJ. I now own fields 29 and 30 with two working oil we...

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
My JD T560 handled the huge field 9 pretty well - thanks to course play and auto drive. Not even sure what it sounds like with my hearing as it is. I now own most of the land on either side of the primary east/west road at the east end. Really enjoying AJ's map and it is a great plus to have the map...

Re: Thank You for - Griffin, Indiana Map - by AJFarmer
Well last night was a bummer I had high hopes to finish my field harvesting wheat only To deliver my 1st 20000 l and instead of seeing money increase when it was finished dumping I got a 4% completion for contract on field 9 that I was unaware I must have accepted I don't know why or when. Before I...

@Dagrump Thanks for the comments Those shelves are literally "Jacked Up" From the looks of it it appears you may have a mod installed that uses those shelves. The map itself only uses vanilla props and those do not look vanilla. I checked the id3 File and there nowhere to be found. There ...

Hi Aj, I also did a satellite view of Griffin and was also amazed as how accurately you have depicted the area. Thanks for all your hard and dedicated work. Here is a screenshot of the "flying shelves" below. It really is not that big a problem you just need to be sure your CP or AD course...
