No, the patch/update is not a mod. Just like pretty much any other software, it's an installer file (.exe) which you have to execute with a doubleclick on the file. Then just follow the instructions to install it.

Have you verified that the patch is installed correctly?
When you start the game, the version number is shown in the upper left corner. The current version is 1.5.3.1.

If you see some mods on the website you don't see ingame on PC, then that means that you don't have the latest patch installed. In that case, just download it here -> https://www.farming-simulator.com/updates.php and install it.

The ModHub website shows all mods available on PC.
