Informations regarding ModHub awards and the Holiday season #ModderLoben

Post by Chaki »

Today marks the one-year anniversary of our journey with FS22.
Together with our amazing Modding Community, we've managed to get over 3200 Mods tested, approved, and released for the community to enjoy.
This is more than half of the mods that FS19 had in ModHub after its 3-year lifespan!

A huge thanks to everyone that contributed to this achievement.

We got something for those, with mods, that received a high engagement from the community:
- ModHub awards:
Many of you have contacted us in the past regarding the state of the "ModHub" Awards.
We finally have an answer to those questions; a solution for a new & improved way of the Award process.

If you log in to the ModHub now you should see a new Tab called "Awards".
In there you see various information, for example, if you qualify for an award and in which current state your awards are in.
We expect a great amount of Award claims now that we launched the system however, while our Team is prepared and will be working hard, delays are likely to happen and unavoidable.
Especially since the parcel carriers are also handling the holiday shopping season.

- ModHub holiday testing schedule:
Mod testing will slow down but we're continuing to accept submissions throughout the upcoming holidays.
Starting on the 24th of December, the ModHub Team will step away for some time with our friends and families to enjoy the holiday season.
Please note however that reviews may take longer than usual to complete after those times due to the number of submissions and part of the team being on vacation.

Please try to not create unnecessary ModHub messenger tickets regarding asking about the current state of your mod or when you can expect an update to the status, this will only cause delays for you and other modders.

- For any planned releases before the new year:
Please plan ahead with submissions if you want them to be released before the new year.
Contact us in ModHub messenger as soon as possible with your mod being in pending state.
We then can check with you about scheduled releases and their likeliness.
Especially if you got multiple mods for some kind of "Advent calendar"

Our goal is to get through the holidays with you as smoothly as possible.
Both parties must keep the goal in mind to achieve this.

We are very interested to see which creative and great mods everyone will work on throughout the second year and beyond.
We wish everyone an awesome holiday & a good start into the new year.
Stay safe everyone.

Please keep the constructive feedback coming, we are planning on improving the process throughout the next years.

Thank you for reading
