Re: Can I store grass for the sheep?
Im not sure but i think bailing might be the only way to save "food" in a looooong time.. I dont know how they decay or what they do, but it would just be my guess that leaving it in a trailer for x time would make it decay..
But again, im not sure at all.

Why store it in a trailer? Your just wasting money on vehicle maintenance fees if thats all your using the trailer for. I just leave the grass growing and cut as needed for my sheep or silage for cows.

dont store. either sell it or feed it or make silage with it. grass growing in the field or cut but not picked up is it's own storage. it never withers and wont rot.

I don't store it. Whenever my forager runs low of grass, I mow field 38, windfrow it, forage it, and then park my forager at the trough. Grass does not spoil or wither, so let it grow until needed.
