Wheat Growing Oddly

Post by OrcaAmity »

Why is my wheat growing at a odd pace. I sown the seeds at the same time and only part of the field was ready for harvesting and the rest of it wasn't and as I write this it still isn't. Also it formed a strange pattern that nobody would sow seeds in. I drive up and down a field next to a sown patch each time as other people would. My wheat in the same field grew in this way the last time.

Then I noticed this. I sown the seeds at the same time and one tiny spot has started growing. What's going on? Sometimes my crops start growing minutes after I've sown the seeds. Sometimes they start growing much later.

Plant growth in fs is pretty wierd, and people have done all sorts of tests trying to figure it out.
In simple terms, everything on the map grows one stage every so many hours (on normal plant growth it's 8 hours iirc), but it's delayed, so crops that have been in the ground for less than an hour (iirc) will end up being a stage behind, if you planted the field just before the growth stage triggered.
The simple way around it, if it bothers you, is to turn growth off while you're seeding, just remember to turn it on again when you finish!

My PC has no virus, it's just a matter of Google picking those sports because the names of the teams are seem more popular. Thanks for the address.
