You can just remove the mods you don't want on the map. Removing Drive Control will NOT destroy your game. Not every mod they require has to be in the game. :smileynew:

I like the drive control, you can leave the vehicle running with the lights on at night like a spotlight on your work area. This is an interesting map.

I put it in and briefly tried it, but had a couple issues, and I believe it was a conflict with some other mod. Maybe tonight I'll swap my mods folder for my test one and give her a real looking over. I keep a copy of my games mod folder with vehicles only to test maps such as this that use a lot of mods. Mainly because I f don't like the darn thing it's easy to delete the whole folder and replace with a copy of my regular mod folder. A little trick I learned the hard way, many many moons ago, and that is to back up, backup again, and backup one more time, just to be sure.

I never got to play it because it had a conflict with something and nothing would go straight unless it was a hired hand and this even happened on other maps with those mods and ended uo having to reinstall the whole game on 2 computers.

May we see your log.txt to see what mods are conflicting and if there is anything else wrong with the game? Instructions how to post log.txt is in my signature. :smileynew:

I tried to run it with a clean mods folder, and still had issues. It's not conflicts, it's a mod map that still needs a lot of work. A great idea, true, but it needs work.

Ah, well I guess the problem would be solved? I kind of thought this map had issues. I think they have multiple versions out... Maybe? Not sure exactly. :smileynew:

Yeah, I think there are like three versions, and like I said, it's a nice map idea if they can iron out all the bugs. If you read the comments from the D\L site you can see it's an on going project.

Ah, I can see why it would be an "on-going project".
