why cant i join my friend

my friend just got the game on steam but i had it since it came out on dick and still do and he can not join or find the same games as i do. Can you tell me if there is a difference between the two, or what we have to do in order to play together. Thank you!

Check that you both have the same settings for i.e. Map,amount of players,DLC etc and one of you might have a DLC good chance your friend does if he downloaded the game.

Hey Vovan, one thing that I just figured out with another issue on here. If you don't have the same version you will only see servers with your specific version.

go to your install folder and check text file VERSION.

If you're on steam it usually updates automatically - otherwise you need to download the updates
