Hello Farmers, I have put together a Modding FAQ to help all those who need it:
Read the description of the mod at the page you downloaded from!
To find your mods in the store click the arrow (top right of the shop menu) twice to get to the mods category.

Some mods require you to place them using GE.

Some mods(Ex: pigs&beef fattening mod) will be found in the normal(not mod section) shop menu under their category like animals for the example given.
Trusted mod sites:

Official Giants mod hub.

The "featured" section on modhoster also provides a good selection of mods that should be safe from viruses or malware (as long as you use the ones that offer a direct download from modhoster):
For mod downloads from uploaded (some links from modhoster) I would recommend to use an AdBlocker. Some false virus warnings could be just ignored. There is an explanation for here which is easy to translate.
Take a look here as well: ... 02#p674702
If you are having trouble with mods or the game itself after installing a bunch of mods check your log txt for errors. Here's a link with a explanation(explanation is for FS13 but works for FS15) on where to find your your log txt and post it if necessary: viewtopic.php?f=827&t=88665
You can use programs like winrar, 7zip, winzip to extract your files if needed.
To all of you who have put mods into the mods folder but can't find them in game.
First of all it's important, that only mods as zip-files will work in a multiplayer game.
Second: these mods have to be in the correct mods folder of FS 15.

If you want to buy mods in game go to the shop by pressing "P". No you'll get an overview of categories of the equipment available in the game.

If you click 2 times at the marked spot (white triangle in blue field) the mod section of the shop will be shown. Most vehicles and equipment can be found here
If this isn't the case do one more click to the brands section. Here all mods should be found.
