FS17 / mods

Just curious if any one knows this ...
I wish mods like "Drive Control" and "GPS" will be standard functions in FS17 ... but if they are not ...
How long after Giants release the game will it be until we have mods like that for it?
How long was it before there was any available mods when FS15 was released?
