Working mirrors?

Hello, I just started the game and this far the mirrors are not working. Is there any special trick to maked those work. Graphics maybe?

At the beginning of the game in options , there is a setting to turn them on or off.. Check there to see that they are on.. Hope this helps

Mirrors apparently only work on high and very high settings.
