question about bales

can you use square bales to make feed for cows. or does the hay and straw bales need to be round? thanks

squares work. Mixing station works easier...

yes square bales work but if using mixing station there's no need in baling straw or hay just use loading trailer to pickup hay or straw and dump directly in mixing station that station saved me a lot of work

Mixing station plus silage silo is the way to go. No more baling, especially for hay.
