Patch 1.3 Status

I keep checking in, poking about to see if there is a patch, and then dashing back off again. It's turned into a habit.

LOL i join the club on that one. Have been checking ever since it was fairly serious that it was supposed to be getting close to coming out.
Maybe we might get it once this JCB DLC comes available tomorrow, but that is just a very random thought i had and highly doubt it.

No, that listing shows things that developers upload and change, not Steam housekeeping.

Just remember steam has an extensive backend that developers use to disseminate closed alpha and beta builds to a closed very small amount of people (<15 people) securely.

So just because someone uploads something and it registers on https://steamdb.inf doesn’t mean it will ever see the light of day outside of a couple of trusted people who report back to the devs.

Yep absolutely,

The last 10 MB update that we all questioned a while back was on there list as a change.

However the dev's said it was to do with steam and not anything to do with the game.

The update on Steam did not involve any gameplay changes. This update only changed some minor things due to changed Steam regulations.

Of course it doesn't. My point was that it shows activity, in other words, that they're doing "something". Most of this stuff is internal testing and closed betas.

well, the biggest pile of money goes to Giants from casual gamers in FS, not from enthusiast like us, i guess...
and most casual gamers do not care about stuff like script documentation required by moders to make excellent mods or God forbid realistic mods, so Giants approach to this situation (delayed patches for PC, no script documentation for more then five months after release but DLCs keep coming) is understandable strictly from a financial point of view
they know that enthusiasts will he here anyway, losing casual gamers will be biggest hit
bad policy for us, anyway....
