1.2.0 console patch notes.

Hello,
Here's the patch notes for latest console update 1.2.0

- Added support for steering wheels
- Improved performance with many small wood pieces
- Improved performance with many planted trees
- Fixed several crash situations
- Tuned physics of several vehicles
- Fixed visual artifacts of several vehicles

They just forgot the framerate turning into a slideshow in the woods, when using ai, when using vehicle lights and various combinations of these. I know you are a mod, but could you convince a staff member to explain why they don't seem to notice the fps going from 60 to sub 25? or why they forgot to put the windrow textures in the console version. Or are they not bothered.
Oh, and a word of warning, if people don't want the spectacle of logs and stumps dissapearing in front of your eyes, don't install this patch.

My fps doesn't drop to 25 in the woods and logging is what I do most. It's goes from 60 to 50 which isn't bad. What do you mean by windrow textures? Also you do know Giants is company.

How do you know it goes from 60 to 50? that kind of drop is imperceptible in this game, unless you're using analytical software. The game normally runs at 60fps, and if it becomes noticeably rough, as in stuttery camera movement, then the frames are dropping to at least 25fps, because that's when it becomes noticeable laggy. The witcher 3 on ps4, in the swamps (before the latest patch) was the perfect example of this.
Windrows, whether straw or grass, are meant to be replaced by textures when they come to their draw limit, so as to give the illusion of them continuing to the end of the field. Look at the crops, wheat is replaced by a yellow texture when viewed from a (short distance) , this is meant to happen with windrows too, it does on pc. It even did it on fs13 on the xbox 360, although it was limited.
I've been playing fs since the 2011 version and am well aware of the size of giants, they are a small team, however, they seem to find the time to work on dlc. And do you realise there are still bugs in this game that were in fs2011?. I mainly play the game on pc, but i want the console version to be successful, and it won't be if they continue along this route of doing the bare minimum and releasing copy and paste games every 2 years

I know because I fortunately know someone with the developers Issue of XboxOne I run the game through it with every update. I get a bad fps drop/slideshow if I have more than 10 trees cut in one area.
I do get a significant drop when I have 2-3 harvesters going at the same time it goes from 60 to 35
Maybe fps wood area issues are more related to ps4

The dev's are well aware of the issue, i've told them about it multiple times, it's even in the list of things they are meant to be looking at, but they don't seem interested. They never did fix the problems in fs2013 on console, didn't even attempt to, i suspect it will be the same here.

Some bugs they choose not to fix because doing so would mess up peoples save games or require a larger update than what is allowed. Consoles do have a limit on how big a update can be each console is different in this matter.

What? I've had no issues with map as of yet. But saying "consoles have a limit on how big an update can be" is irrelevant. Do you realize the fall patch for BF4 is larger than the complete installed game of FS15 and all DLC combined.

Oh and ps4 has a glitch sometimes, instead off showing the update size. It adds all previous amounts onto the download. So people mistake a small download for a huge one

I'm not trying to grind your gears bud, and I understand your postion as a moderator on the forum trying to assist the FS community, but I don't thing its fair to make assumptions or educated guesses on certain topics. With every issue of the game there is always "their a small company" which can be easily found on many threads on the forum. But with all do respect, being a paying costumer on the user end of a product, you essentially buy your "right" to complain about issues with said product. The "small company" isn't the consumers fault.
I understand forum rules on not bashing the game, but people have legitimate complaints that are only being addressed by people that have no hand in the creative/ production process of the game.

Yes we the moderators are answering questions, yes we don't have any part of of creating the game noone said we did. With all the issues going on right now do you really think Giants is able to get on the forums and answer all these questions. No. Their busy trying to fix things going on right now with the DLC release. Right now at the time of this post its almost 2A.M where Giants is located. Yes you have the right to complain. And the reason we tell people its a small company is because they don't have this huge support team ready to fix issues at all times of the day like EA or Activision. It takes Giants time to find the problem, create a fix for it, test the fix for the problem, then release the fix.

Problem is, giants very seldom achieve any of this. Fs 2011, turn the lights on fps drops, fs 2013 turn the lights on fps drops, fs 15 turn the lights on fps drops. There's already bugs being encountered with he gold dlc.
Don't feel we're ganging up on you, you and skullbits responding here is very much appreciated.

I don't think you guys are ganging up on us and thank you for the appreciation. All I'm saying is cut them some slack, look at this amazing game they have created for us every year its gets better and better.
