Multiplayer name not saving when changed

Hi, today I loaded up the game and accessed a multiplayer server. Then when the game had loaded, my name had inexplicably changed to a default set by GIANTS.

I then went to the settings to change this setting, did so, then clicked the save button and the game self-reloaded as it always has done. Though, when I went to the options screen again, the multiplayer name had not changed and was reverted to the default again.

Now I've tried re-installing the latest patch but that didn't affect anything so I'm afraid I'll have to re-install the game but before that I wanted to check if anyone else had come across this problem and had a better way to fix it.
