I can't tell any exact dates, but you'll definitely be able to pre-order the Platinum Addon before the release, most probably quite soon.

I know this always comes up with the bonus stuff, so I thought I would get in early- Do people who pre-order through steam also get the bonus tractor? l know in the past the answer has been yes. Hoping its true here as I much prefer the per profile option that goes with steam as I play on several different platforms. Thanks in advance!

Platinum edition is a DLC itself, I don't think it is something like a seasons pass or the premium edition of the game.

I remember badly or in the past farming (fs15 and FS13) the final versions (gold and platinium) contained the previous DLC ??

I was waiting for this version to buy everything in one block, but if it is a DLC, it's not worth buying it.

I don't have any previous experience about FS series. I've started with 17. My comment was actually based on the Giants announcement on their website.
Btw, those version are a bit confusing I guess.
For example, they've released a "complete edition" for FS15 a few months back in consoles. It includes all the DLC's.
But I think premium is something like that.

@Lisertan, can you shed some light please :hi: Will the platinum edition include all previous DLC's or it is just another DLC like the ones that came before it?

I have no idea about 13 but I'm sure the gold edition of 15 didn't include previous DLC.

In addition to Eric's post, the Official Expansion #2 included all DLC's when Holmer DLC released minus the Gold Edition, as that came with the base game, like Eric said.

Gold Edition DLC was 1.3GB, so I would assume close to that, but don't quote me on that. :wink3:

The platinum expansion will be slightly above 2GB.

Will it eat up on our dedicated mod storage space on consoles?

No, the DLCs have their own storage space, which is only limited by the HDD space.
