Not to derail things at all, but can we expect anymore to be said/revealed/discussed at E3?

Not that I'm ungrateful for what we have just had - frankly it's the best news I've had this last week lol

JD, cotton and oak seems to be the new additions we know so far :hi: That is just amazing *thumbsup*
I hope there would be even more :smileynew:

At the same time, we still get to keep cows, sheep, pigs and chickens. Which is something I'm also as happy as the new additions. I just hope chickens can go back to FS15. I mean something like the Enhanced Chicken Pack on PC.

I could be reading too much into it but the article on the news page does state that we have to care for our cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, so this time we may actually have to feed, water, and clean them.

It would also make sense given that we also can have harvest oats. Maybe a small portion of that would have to go towards our chickens...

^^ I hope so, because tending to chickens can also mean what we do atm.

But riding horses means we now have 3rd person view which will give us a completely different perspective.

Chickens usually eat a corn/soybean blend with grit added. Oats would be more for the horses.

Imo at the back there was the straw addon hall. I hope that its added to vanilla game. It brings more depth to the game, wich is needed, pure plant, harvest sell comes boring very fast

That's where the straw pallets come in used as horse feed

Since John Deer is now licensed for FS19 is that license retroactive to all previous games? Can modders officially add the JD logos to FS17 for instance?

Pretty much 100% Not coming to fs17 as people wouldn't buy 19 if they can get there favorite brand or tractors on 17. It wouldn't make financial sense for Giants to do that but im sure it will be asked a millon times and some modders may even try to submit some.

i mean... jd mods for 17 would be great but then they might not be able to pull people into fs 19 if they give the consoles this opprotunity

The way Deere's license typically works is a royalty fee. I have no idea of the details of what Deere and Giants have in their deal, but if it is anywhere similar to that premise, that would get them a cut of FS17, which isn't going to happen because Deere didn't do anything to drive the sales for that release.

Outside of that, I fully expect any mods for FS17 from now on out will be few and far between and more effort will be spent internally at Giants to get FS19 done.

Personally, Deere in 17 would be nice, but I'd rather see more kinks worked out in advance of a FS19 release so that I don't have to spend a lot of time downloading updates on the day of release.
