Hello,

what lasts a long time, finally becomes design... or something.

The new forum design is now online and can be tested.

The forum itself has the same functions as the old forum (it is the old forum), but now it looks more modern.

Newly added: A Night Mode

To darken the forum, go to your control panel and change the theme to dark.



The forum will look like this:




If you find problems, please post them here. I also take feedback

I was curious about the new design since you first announced it and it didn't disappoint. Nice job

I have only 1 complaint actually. The greyish fonts on the dark theme are a bit too pale I think. They are hard to read sometimes. May be a lighter or more brighter shade of grey would be better.

I just joined the dark side ... *scary*!

Takes a while getting used to having stuff that was placed to the left before now found to the right ...
I hope that my brain can handle this much change all at ones ...

Oh ... just found a "thing".

When I was first writing this (in the quick reply window) the background was "gray" ... when I pressed the "full editor and preview thingy" the background in the text window turned white! ... Intended?

Also ... when in edit mode ... the "spoiler button" looks "off set".

Forum is looking good lis. One little thing I noticed though. If there is more than 2 posts being quoted it becomes unreadable on mobile. It shows a box around the quoted text and the first part of the quote then uses a line per every 2 letters. I will try and screenshot an example

There is. click on the left half of the speech bubble in front of said thread. (it should be the whole bubble, but there is a fu** up somewhere)

Could they add a line for "Platform" under the users avatar in posts. A lot of questions and comments are platform dependent.

why do German speaking people need explaination of the subforum?





I know this is the same as before the update, but because you guys are changing things atm you might change this as well.
