Re: [Dev Blog] New Crops & Weed Control

Post by JTaylor801 »

With regards to the new information about milk and no more teleporting or automatic sell at midnight. Will there be an option to allow the sell of milk at midnight? Or will we need to wait for a mod to allow that functionality?

As a PC player, I've often used the stop milk sell mod on both FS15 and 17 when I've wanted to handle the milk myself. But there are times I don't want to. After all, not all dairy farms deliver or transport milk. So just sort of curious how this change is being implemented into FS19?

Thanks,
Jerry

so glad to hear the teleporting milk will no longer be a thing :smileynew: , assume this is partially due to the way the new placeable system works as there will not be a static field defined anymore. it would be nice if there was some way to pay for pickup of milk as I imagine the tanker will not be cheap.

Overall great Dev Blog, Can't wait to start playing with the start from scratch game mode! :biggrin2:

Will we be able to buy and sell chickens?
If answered point me in the right direction.
Thanks.
I forgot if I ever answered this, so I just do it again: Yes, that's possible in FS19 :)
Are the chicken pens going to be placeable?
I really prefer to not have chickens.

As far as I can gather every animal pen is now a placeable which is why you now have to buy chickens I'm assuming. lis could you confirm?

No, because the game will lag if you have too many animal meshes(i think that's the word) afaik from fs13-17 that's been the reason. But that dont mean that in fs19 we will see unlimited animal meshes or whatever it is they call it.

you're probably right, maybe more than 15 will make it a little bit of a mass :)

BigC92 is right here. It's a matter of performance (and also of space if you go completely nuts with animals) so we will stick to "you only see some"

I'm writing this here just to create a written proof :biggrin2:
The price of the FS19 Premium Edition is almost double the price of the base game. Which is also almost double the price difference between the base game of FS17 and FS17 Premium Edition.
So, I'm expecting either Claas as a fully fledged DLC with tons of models or at the very least 6 DLCs for FS19.
I know you won't answer or comment but as I said this is just to create a written proof :biggrin2:
If I fail in my assumptions, it is gonna be miserable

So I'm joining you because I bought it yesterday too FS19 Premium Edition
Someone said that it's not worth it. It's not known what the DLC will be.

There was something wrong with the way the sugarbeet harvester turns around? Which one? Both seem to turn around just fine for me, with and without workers....
