We personally around here refer to diesels sometimes as their respective engine makes, ford=power stroke, ram=Cummins and GM= Duramax. So if a boy says, "I gotta 04 duramax, he's got a 04 GM truck

Yes, I know but that still doesnt absolutely define the truck. There are a lot of other vehicles that use Cummins for example. Or a duramax could be Chevy or GMC. Or you could have a older truck with a transplanted motor. Just a pet peeve of mine

Glad I am not the only one bothered by this. Makes someone look ignorant by referring to the truck by the engine.

^^^ nobody knows anything about what’s in the pipeline and the modders don’t give much away on here or any other forums due to the flack they get. Best bet is to ask Blacksheep Modding through Facebook

I don’t think it’s neccesary to call someone stupid. I am from Ireland and no vehicle is referred to by their engine type. It’s all referred to the make and model of the vehicle or Tractor.

Around my part of the southern US I very rarely hear someone call a truck by their engine. It’s mostly when they’ve modded or upgraded the truck’s engines when they do it. But most people say they have a Ford or a Chevy or whatever.

I never stated that was the norm. Just something that is generally accepted and recognized. I, for one, just say i gotta 04 Sierra. I dont call my truck a 04 Vortec. Dont sound right. Like i said, not the norm but a recognized form of citing your truck’s make if its got the stock motor

Doesn't really work now since cummins is also in Nissan now

im from Wisconsin a the only truck we call by the engine type is diesel trucks. i still think the game needs some more pickups. a crew cab long bed would be perfect.

It would be good to see if Ford got involved with the game, they might introduce some other vehicles besides Agricultural. But all depends on the licensing of the product.
