It has been a while since I used the landscaping tool.
But if they managed to broke a feature without even updating the game, that would be quite an achievement.
May be there is a mod collision or something.

Same issue here except I'm stuck on sand. Have not updated any maps and it worked the other day

I wish they'd change the grass textures. They look like Goldcrest from 17 only without all the flowers in them.

It would be good to have a different look from grass you have planted to the grass that grows wild around the map (i.e. so it was longer and easier to distinguish from the lower yield wild grass).

I would like to see seasons brought back sooner rather than later.

Does anyone else love that Giants have been reintegrating old machinery from previous games twice a week since launch? I'm really pleased that they are doing so.

I hope we see the JCB skid steers/telehandlers and more of the combine harvesters from previous games (MF Delta 9380, the other 2 Rostselmash machines, the Case 7130, and the respective grain and corn headers) as part of this project.

What is everyone else hoping to see?

I would like it better, if those mods have been part of the game and not mods. Maybey it could be part of an update, because on console we got a 4 (I think) GB Limit to mods. I don't know if there where that much giants-mods to the start of FS17 but why aren't they part of the game?

I agree with you Phigo, the legacy equipment should be available as updates, if it was not possible to transfer them before the game launched.

I imagine some things could not be included in the base game (or as a base-game update) due to licensing issues. Essentially, it boils down to the fact that licenses are required to sell a product using another company's brand - you can't sell FS19 with Brochard manure spreaders if you no longer have a license to do that from Brochard. You also can't update a Brochard manure spreader into the game without a license, since the user bought the future base game updates when they bought the game. However, you can give away a free digital model of a Brochard manure spreader without needing one, since you aren't making any profit on the brand's name. This is my understanding of the situation anyway.

I doubt licensing issues are a problem for all legacy machines thought, and those that do have licenses should be included either from launch day or as updates.

What if Giants is planning to fill up the base game with some cool DLCs including enormous amounts of vehicles and equipment?
So, may be porting FS17 stuff over as mods might be the best option to go.
