Will there be a fix for the joystick? Works now no problem but when I assign the axis for up and down they both come up as positive instead of + & - axis?

The wheel works relatively good now (G920). The only issue is I have to tab out / tab in the game to get the setting from the logitech profiler.

ANd I can't still assign key combinaison or a same key for two function.

So is the 1.1.3 beta patch available to Mac users? We still haven't gotten the 1.1.2 patch. Thanks.

Just look at it this way: Windows players are the guinea pigs and you will get the finished product later. :wink3:

But, if you really want to join in, you can always Bootcamp a Windows installation on your Mac. Then you can run the PC/Windows version and opt for the beta. (I do this on my MacBook in order to run Windows-only games, and even FS. It works very well.)

in v1.1.0 I had a G27 and a Microsoft FFB2 joystick that would work perfectly after some hand editing of the generated inputBinding.xml and the tagging it read-only, so FS19 cant overwrite it and sorting out the absolute mess that the LogitechG27.xml was.

for the past 9 days I have been enjoying using both together and would have to do NOTHING upon starting FS19, just as I had in FS17, FS15 and FS13, whatever settings I set via joy.cpl for the wheel would be used without question by FS19.

try's v1.1.3, takes the time to remap keys via the key binding GUI (having deleted the v1.1.0 inputBinding.xml and using the v1.1.3 LogitechG27.xml) only to be faced with once playing my MS FFB2 joystick now has NO centring force whatsoever (unless I tab out of FS19 upon which the centring force returns, but on returning back to FS19 it goes again), while my G27 now starts with 180deg of wheel rotation regardless of what is set in joy.cpl, which means I now have to tab out of FS19 and run joy.cpl and go into the G27 settings (without changing anything just merely entering the setting page) then exiting and going back to FS19 before FS19 will respect the settings of the G27 even though IT WAS SET BEFORE FS19 WAS LAUNCHED, and to cap it off, I still have to hand edit the inputBinding.xml to removed the bindings that cannot be removed via the key binding GUI, and I still have to replace the LogitechG27.xml with my edited one to have any semblance of logical ordering and naming of buttons.

and even when I make an xml in the \Farming Simulator 2019\shared\inputDevices\ folder for the joystick to get around the "unknown" device cat to get "Name: SideWinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick(VID: 045E PID: 001B VER: 0A00 Cat: JOYSTICK)" in the log.txt it is still without centring.

so v1.1.3 to me is nothing more than a joke with respect to my G27 wheel and Microsoft FFB2 joystick and it's 200%(*) worse than v1.1.0
(*) 100% per device it has made worse vs v1.1.0.

BTW: like many people I DONT run the Logitech Profiler, it is a superfluous bit of software that doesn't need to be running and has NOT been needed for the past 8 years since its launch, given ALL the wheel settings can be changed via joy.cpl, and so long as it has been installed you have the G27 drivers.

Are the fixes above relevant to console? for the most part, no. Besides, these are beta patches. Once Giants pulls them out of beta and they are relevant to consoles, you will get an update.
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

Will the auto center be fixed to work with other imputs other than just keyboards? Like having the adjustment for it but would like it to affect the steering with controllers as well.

In FS17 I was able to change the sensitivity of my Xbox controller to 0.75 (75%) in the xml file for all the axes, since this is not possible in game. It remembered this while saving the game. I’m on patch 1.1.3 beta now and I’m able to change the sensitivity values for axis 0 to axis 3 and these remain the same after restarting the game. However, axis 5 and 6 don’t exist in the xml, and when I add them the game doesn’t do anything with it.

Anyone had a workaround already? Or is this something that’s going to be fixed?

The two trigger axes of the Xbox controller are called 10 and 11 in the xml (and 11 and 12 in the gui)
