If you're playing the PC version there is a way of undoing any mistakes. Simply copy the saved files from the 'savegameBackup' folder that was prior to the time where you made the mistake and place those files into the 'savegame1' or whichever savegame folder you made the mistake in. Now you're back to a point before you messed up the map.

you all so can on consoles. just set the auto save interval to "OFF" then when you mess up you just quit the game and come back.("Now you're back to a point before you messed up the map.") and also when you do get it right don''t forget to save.

Known issue with controllers interfering with the mouse. I have the same problem with X-52 connected. Disconnect the controller to landscape then save and restart with controller connected.

Hello. New question about terraforming. I flattened out the terrain north of field 1. On the other side of the road prior to put a bunker silo there. After i flattened it out i gouldnt place the bunker there. It says the deformation of the terrain failed. What could i have been doing wrong. I hope to sort this out since my dream farm gonna be up there. Hoping for help.

Best regards

I had a few spots where I could not smooth out with the tool, or reduce the level of a small hill in some places.

It is just tool limitations I guess.

Try placing the Dog kennel as close to the terrain failed area as possible then delete the kennel.

The landscaping tool is great. Only have 2 questions? Why does it cost so much? And why doesn't it have the flattening tool? The flattening tool wood save a lot of time and money. ...

I think the landscaping tool is pretty cost effective compared to the building placement first.

It doesn't have it on PC, it has: Raise, Lower and Smooth, no flattening. With a flattening tool you'd be able to make the ground perfectly flat with one pass then all your buildings and animal pens would sit perfectly, no guess work and more importantly no money waist. ...

If you think that spending almost $300.000 to bring half of the little mound outside the main gate to the heating plant to the same level as the field next to it is cost effective than you'd be right. I just happen to think that it is outrageous especially when I think we should have it for free since we're making the game better for ourselves. That of course is my opinion. ...

Are sure about this? May be you missed the option?
I'm asking just because I'm quite surprised that this kind of an essential feature exists in console but not in PC :confusednew:
