Are bug additions to be made in the full version 1.2 patch? Or will it only focus on the errors mentioned in the beta?

Edit don_apple: moved from separate topic into existing topic discussing the 1.2 patch and adapted title. Please don't open a new topic in case there is already a similar one.

“Undo” is a lot harder to implement in this setting than MS Word. It’s just reality.

Fortunately, Save + Experiment + Quit + Reload = Undo. :wink3:

Just had a quick play around and have a couple of questions about landscaping.
1) Is there an undo option?
2) When I paint or smooth over grass the grass disappears. How do I get it back.
1.) No
2.) Painted grass does not regrow (albeit we might add that in a future patch)
That might be a nice to have, so that when you edit say, a grassy area, it actually looks grassy eventually again rather than being a flat, green textured mesh. Given the really amazing looking grass you guys are rocking in 19, itd be a shame not to have it regrow ^^

That aside, this patch reads pretty amazing. Great work on the new features, and looks like you truly are addressing all the big issues - and certainly all the ones I ran into.

SO HYPED to leave work and get home!

I work most weekends but booked this one off in the hope you would get this patch out and you DID! I don't care if it's a BETA and not 100% just yet, I have been desperately waiting to build animal pens etc but refused to do it until I can place them how I want and where I want with roads to and from etc etc...

SO EXCITED! Thank you for listening to people and getting this out as a BETA, yes I know there will be haters that moan that we should have had it from day one.... and I don't disagree... but the pasta is in the pasta and we have it now!

Definately going to be doing some (imaginary - role play) ditches next to my fields... not sure about other parts of the world but here in Norfolk, England it is very flat land and ditches are a major part of farming... So I know they won't actually drain the land etc but at least I can make it look roughly like they do and just pretend! haha

Not really.
Save + Experiment + Quit + Reload = potential waste of much time.
Undo = what any competently designed software has :wink3:

Reading the patch notes there is no mention of the Y Invert bug.
Is this because it has already been fixed on PC?
It certainly is still an issue on console, I'm concerned that when this patch rolls out to all platforms, this annoying camera bug is at the top of the fixed lists.

I think you are confusing difficulty of implementation for yourself with the developer. Its a great feauture. Giants is delivering on progress. Don’t worry, be happy.

Thanks for the reply.
Save before landscaping is the way to got then. No big deal.
I hope you can add re-growing grass in the future as the new FS19 grass is really beautiful.

Okay.

Just tested landscaping about 30min and created new farm with it. I have to say IT*S AWESOME! Took me about 5mins get use to it. No more pesky sharp edges on terrain. Made some roads with it and my farm yard looks so nice.

That is what we needed, thank you so much!

Landscaping work pretty well! Just hope they will add an option to delete undesirable junk...ie :Car, trash, etc...

Because it tooks too much place in Ravenport.

Installed this beta on Steam and did an initial test to see if whether or not the dual binding combo were indeed fixed for the gamepad inputs etc and I can confirm that they have been fixed, the landscaping tool I had a little play with though not too much and I think that its a great idea though would probably be something I'll need to play about with more before doing anything with it...What I'd like to know though however is if whether or not using this tool to delete fields would it auto-update the PDA?
