[FS19]Straw Harvest - Free Expansion coming April 7th!

Free addon coming soon: Creative Mesh releases Straw Harvest, the acclaimed expansion for Farming Simulator 17, for the latest entry of the series. On April 7th, Straw Harvest will be available for free on the Modhub of Farming Simulator 19 on PC/Mac, PS4 and Xbox One. With the free addon you expand your farming operation to the pellet industry.

Straw Harvest allows you to enter the pellet industry using authentically rebuild machines and tools by KRONE as well as Bressel und Lade. Included is the worlds first mobile pellet havester - the KRONE Premos 5000, which produces pellets directly on the field or is operated stationary with the additional bale shredder. Also included are two balers, the KRONE BiGPack 1290 HDP II and Comprima V180xc as well as other tools and machinery.

You decide how to handle your produced goods: Sell them right away, use them for animal bedding or food, or bring them to the expandable industry hall, used for storage and processing. A hall crane to move all the material and an automatic pelletizer will give you full control over your goods. Bale grabs from Bressel und Lade and Lizard including various front loaders, telehandlers and wheel loaders are used to handle the bales in your storage.

Even though we had intense testing on our DLC StrawHarvest a major bug was able to hide from us and we found it only this thursday. This bug could result into corrupt savegames and we don´t want that to happen. After a couple of stressfull days we were able to fix it just in time for PC and Mac version. For the console version however the fixes need to be added via a game patch.
GIANTS Software managed to get a slot for a patch, the fixes still need to be validated which can take about one to two weeks. Sorry for the delay.

Release for PC and Mac version is still on 7th of April.

Highly doubtful. Seems they're still working on a few things, and I'd imagine that if it does come out prior to release, it will probably be similar to the Bourgault release and we'll get that about a week before it drops.

No, Straw Harvest is not made by us, we are kinda helping Creative Mesh to publish it. The other 2 DLCs are as of now unannounced.

I wonder will it be treated like DLC or Add-on. I mean will it take mod space like mods/add-ons or not, like DLC-s on consoles.

It's going on the ModHub according to Creative Mesh, so it will be treated like other mods.

Clearly because you have to wait 2 weeks so it doesn't ruin your saves. If it didn't need the game patch it would be out the same time then. Relax a bit and be happy it should run smoothly on your system.

I play on pc, relax.
I say just console version is cute but limited... Realism mods, scripts, slots....

But yeah if the dlc broke the game, better wait a patch.

Yeah, it *censored* it can't have those scripts, but it has came along ways with a a lot more mods available then there was in 17 by a long shot.

I for one am ok with delay versus possible corrupt save files.Wouldn't wanrt to lose possibly hundreds of hours due to it.
