Way can't they make it work on console?
It's the only reason I can see for it not being done given how guiadance steering is a big part of modern agriculture.

So how's GPS different from hiring a worker? (in-game)

The only thing is that when hiring a worker, the in-cab character changes and there's a fee you have to pay.
If they would add GPS, all they would have to do is keep your own personal character in-cab and remove the fee. And there you have GPS

You have to set a course by marking point a and point b and set the width of your implement. Then turn it on to activate. There are more things you can set in the menu like offsets, etc but those the major things.

Also with the current GPS mod you have to turn around manually

The GPS mod is much more accurate than the helpers too, since you can set the width and you don't spend a half hour backing up in circles to turn around most the time

I'm hoping they will make a console and a pc version..

It s*** that us, PC players, have to play with a reduced version because they want it to work on console..

I know, won't fix...

How is FS19 limited due to consoles?

It's hard to say console is holding it back, I play on both pc and console, (console mainly) in my opinion this is a completely different game on pc with the freedom and mods you have compared to consoles.

From what I can see Fs isn’t limited by consoles (it is limited on consoles though)
PC doesn’t have the mod limitations.
Pc doesn’t have slot count
Pc does have more graphics options.

The console version simply can't hold FS back.

Mainly because Playstation 4 came out in 2013, Xbox One came out in 2013 as well.
Farming Simulator is with it's optimization, graphics and gameplay mechanics stuck in 2008-2013, therefore a 2008-2013 game can't be limited by 2013 hardware. (Can't say it's stuck in 2014+ since Spintires came out that year as well, with it's dynamic terrain and vehicle physics)
And the publisher, Focus Home Interactive probably wasn't holding back FS either, since FS22 took them 3 years (instead of the 2-year recycle) and is self-published by Giants - yet the game looks exactly like FS19 + mods.

The only thing that holds Farming Simulator back is Giants themselves.

Can we get a little more rpg with helpers

As in we can hire x number of helpers and they earn experience the more get used.
The points can be used to improve things like speed or efficiency with
Harvesting,
Seeding/planting,
Plowing etc.
maybe even eventually able to get sent from one location to another on their own.
