The only question remaining is who are you and what have you done with GIANTS?

The original seasons length was a major concern of mine so I am very glad to see the change.

In all seriousness thank you for listening and responding. It's obviously close enough to release now that I'm sure it wasn't easy implementing such changes in such a short space of time.

The hype is back.

What! Only 28 day months uck sooo unrealistic most months have 30 or 31 days how can they expect me to get everything done in time. How can they even call this a simulator more like farm arcade am I right!!! 😭😭😭

Jokes jokes obviously 😉
I didn't even now there was a problem with sorghum but that's great you listened and actually had time to do something about it.
I fully expect this topic to be packed with gratitude or it better be at least after all the season boys kicked off.
I was planning on leaving my pre-order to like the 21st but I might just have to get it in now as a show of support for listening to the community....

With the change to sorghum, makes me wonder will we see differences for maize/corn depending on if its harvested with a forage harvester or a combine as they both leave very different crop residue behind?

I echo Gav's comments... this is massively welcome news and I'm sure you've gained a lot of extra pre-orders today as I know plenty of players who were undecided about Fs22 because of the Seasons length.

But most of all it feels great to have genuine feedback listened to, and then acted upon.

That's huge, but I will say that if there's a way (which is probably possible) to speed up time, that can make the game more realistic.

The only thing that we (players) will need to find, is the perfect time speed to fit the map / reality.

Actually, on 3 days season, 5X is suitable (IMO), for 6 days, I usually use 10 (using a mod to adjust the time as I want).

The way I work to find the right time speed, is to analyse the size of a field, and make a scientific (not at all...just guessing) the time it will take to be plow (as example) and than, I adjust time to fit as must as possible.

i would like to see a x10 speed ingame standard (Console) , 5x is mostly just to slow, and 15 is to fast for 6 day season. I can't understand why 10x is not in game

For me the perfect setting is 5x speed on 9 day seasons. I guess I can find a similar setting now with the new game. Thanks Giants for listening to the community!!

For our Multiplayer Dedi server on Fs17 we ran an edited version of Seasons on 42 days.
Coupled with a time sync script we would run the dedi 24/7 and it worked out to 2 game days to 1 RL day. Which meant every growth transition was 7 RL days, ever Season stage 3 weeks.

It allowed for a far more relaxed gameplay with far more weather variables and made the game far more enjoyable for us.
