Yikes did giants just add courseplay to fs22
I would say at this rate the haters aren't going to have anything left to hate but we all know haters are always going to hate....

Will artificial intelligence AI workers be able to go with us while we use the harvester? This is very necessary when using a forage harvester, sugarcane harvester or potato harvester.

Thanks for listening the community and adding much requested features!
It seems to me that going self-publish was the best decision you could make.

Re: About the AI worker in Farming Simulator 22...
A very good question and let's hope the answer is positive, it's what I like most with autodrive I can harvest and the AI sorts the carting for me.

Definitely. If this is possible, this will be the function I will use the most.norfolk farmer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 2:23 pmA very good question and let's hope the answer is positive, it's what I like most with autodrive I can harvest and the AI sorts the carting for me.

Ok, that's some very welcomed news. However, I think it's best to manage our expectations here. This doesn't sound like courseplay. It sounds more like routes will be predetermined by the map maker. Also, I would love to see the AI unload the combine or drive beside the forage harvester. But it doesn't sound like that's a thing (yet).
It seems like it is still very much a work in progress so I have hope that this will get better in the next year or two.
Good stuff, Giants!

FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!

Re: About the AI worker in Farming Simulator 22...
Colour me impressed. Very impressed.
Needs to be seen to know how good it is currently (quick ambassador/partner example videos would have been ideal), but it doesn't sound finished yet, but good that GIANTS intend to continue improving it for some time (return of the beta patch?). I can cope quite happily with that, so long as the workers at release are no worse than FS19's ones in terms of doing fields themselves (and obviously we all hope they're better and can do headlands etc).
It sounds especially smart that it's apparently not just a fixed spline, but can adapt (to a degree anyway) with unexpected blockages. Obviously fixed splines wouldn't work with the 'build your own farm' feature.
No mention of improved field work, or how the worker do field work if you choose it (do they just spawn there, because however good they are, they're not driving an IDEAL to a field, detaching and parking the header trailer, attaching the header and starting work).
Can workers work windrows now? Bale, forage harvest? Can we operate, for example, a forage harvester while a worker carts? If not is is something GIANTS might think about trying to implement in a future update?

Re: About the AI worker in Farming Simulator 22...
This is great news. Can't wait to try it out
Re: About the AI worker in Farming Simulator 22...
I believe this was already in consideration and being worked on prior to FS 19 release, hence all the extra splines in Ravenport, open map in GE in the Scenegraph navigate to "placeholders" and select the greyed out "SPLINES_TEMP" and you will see what I mean.It sounds more like routes will be predetermined by the map maker.
Re: About the AI worker in Farming Simulator 22...
Not to dampen the mood... but I see no mention of it anywhere, will this be on consoles as well?
