It won't as they stated in the blog, you need to have the DLC to make it work with other vehicles.

Disapointed in that it's another vehicle only DLC some more machinery too go with it would have been my preference.

Finally passengers!!!!!

In a handful of vehicles. Just the DLC RTV-X1140W-H and RTV-XG850 Sidekick as well as some of the base game vehicles (I imagine ATVs and perhaps cars and trucks) for now. I imagine suitable tractors, harvesters and sprayers will have it added to the next game.

I don't mind non-critical features like this being in a DLC, as people playing single player only obviously can't use them, but I don't like that modders who want to add passenger functionality to their vehicles will also need to buy the DLC to test that it works as expected.

Hopefully GIANTS either move the feature into the base-game or introduce a means for modders to test it in GE or something.

Well now I’m going to have to get FS22…
Looks great other than not having any CUT’s or utility tractors, something Kubota is known for in the US. And as a benefit there would be no physical treddle pedal to deal with
