That's a safe statement.

If they didn't bother with forestry or production chains, it would have given them time to complete the farming aspect of Farming Simulator.
There are a lot of things that should have been finished before adding new features, which also weren't finished.
can't forget they went and more less wreck the production chains part when they lowered the pallet limit when there wasn't anything wrong with what it was at from the start.

- Collision needs to match the visual of the tree, no random collision limbs on a bare trunk
- Trees need some squish so that grapples and clamps work OR the system needs to be smart enough to figure out what the player wants to do and grab the trees as desired
- Ground needs some softness so that grapples can get under trees
- Controls need rework
- Processors need to be able to pick up trees off the ground
- Non-pine trees need the most work
Smacked the nail in the head, these are the things that really hold forestry back from being prominent in the community. Some of the most popular logging mods in FS19 had their physics adjusted to try and accommodate the game

On a plus note if this Platinum thingy has bugs and doesn't work as intended it will fit in well with the base game then we can all live in hope they both get fixed next year before they try and sell us something else that's broken.

Hey Giants, can we get a gravity wagon in the expansion?

I know that Giants probably won't make a gravity wagon, but I love to read the responses.

Shall we ask them every day for a working base game and a gravity wagon?

Logging? Mother-chuffing logging!? Ok, I get it, logging is popular with a fair few players. But. It's been, count em, 8, EIGHT, years since it was introduced to the game...and it's still the most janky part and one which I avoid like the plague unless absolutely necessary. I.e. I will merrily turn every physics-obnoxious, vertical Satan twig into woodchips with things like the T-REX rather than try cutting them down in a traditional manner when I need to clear an area. Productions have snafu'd that a little by requiring actual trees to make planks/furniture (which is actually a little ironic, since you end up with pallets of flat-pack furniture that are most likely chipboard and could be made from woodchips!).

I was kinda hoping for an expansion on the vineyard system. More things to do with grapes, I mean, c'mon now, most vineyards don't produce grapes for 'grape juice', they are grown for wine! Which means there could be a whole expansion dedicated to that. I get that FS is A PEGI 3 game...but...maybe do it like Sims did. You don't have 'wine', you have 'nectar'. Hell, an expansion to fruit in general would open up huge possibilities both in crops and productions.

But...logging!?

I suspect that since this is mostly to fulfill the season pass, it doesn't matter too much if people are satisfied. They've already gotten paid.

Imagine paying a car dealer for a season pass, half the amount of your car, and throughout the year he gives you some new lug nuts, a bumper sticker and a couple bulbs for your headlights.
While installing the lug nuts, they don't tighten them completely.
While putting on the bumper sticker, they somehow scratch your paint.
While installing the bulbs, they break one, but install it anyway.
