How to install the new update to pc?

I apologize in advanced if this is the wrong place to ask. I downloaded the new 1.4.4 update. But I never did this before (just got the game a few months ago). I'm on a pc, windows 10. Now, I have steam from another game, but I download FS 17 from Amazon. On the main screen of my game, it still has the 1.2.2 version. I checked the slots where the mods are, and no updates show up as being available.

I'm not sure if the version you get from Amazon has its own way of updating, but on the non-Steam Windows version of the game in order to install the update you just need to run the "FarmingSimulator2017Patch1.4.4.exe" you've downloaded from http://www.farming-simulator.com/update ... country=us
