Can anyone tell me that this don't mean that the base game itself will get broken?
My friend dont want to install modds on ps4 bc he is affraid it will break his ps4 or the game and then have to buy a new game.

Dont worry. This is just a common Information Text and need to take place there. The Content on the Modhub gets checked by Giants and are usually safe to install.
The Mod can also be uninstalled if things dont work as it should. He never need to Buy the Game again for it.
