Do you recommend FS15 complete edition?

Post by RODHA »

I've met FS series with FS17 and I just love it.

So, I'm also thinking to try out the newly released FS15 complete edition.

But, do you recommend it?

I mean, after FS17 would it feel like a down grade (graphics, game play, etc.) or would it be a different and good experience?

Personally i bought 15 late in the game, and still play it now as much as i do 17. I personally don't see as many downgrades, but seeing it more as both bringing in it's ups and downs.

Generally, small things. I may personally like the sounds of the engines on the tractors on 15 more than 17. I may like the New Holland model more on 17 than 15, abd tge wide tires that 17 went too on their models and i may like the Westbridge Hills map on 15 better than 17's maps. I also like the way the dirt looks on 15 more than 17, but 17's combines better than 15 (lol, smaller things).

It all depends on preference, but having them both is a great thing. I don't see any major graphical and gameplay differences, which for me is a good thing, being i can still play both games w/o feeling anything downgraded too much, and would be unplayable. That's just my own opinion of it.

That tells a lot to me. Thanks *thumbsup*

Especially, if the graphics don't have a huge difference, I should try it.

I have 15 and haven't played it since the day 17 was released. If you like bailing at all then stay away from 15. The bales are crazy lol and no straps means transporting is "fun" lol.

15 is a great game but 17 is so much better and changes a good bit imo.

An opposite opinion then. Thanks for the feed back *thumbsup*

I like bailing but lately I got bored a bit.
However, crazy bales and no straps sound really fun

The only missions are mowing or moving a pallet from a factory to a designated place. Pallets are really hit and miss in 15 too. No mods, no ability to leave the tractor running when you get out of it. Logging is much worse too and don't even try use the jenz chipper. You will go grey or pull your hair out lol.

Missions seem to be really different. No mowing as a mission in 17.
And moving a pallet from one place to another sounds different as a mission.
I guess I like that :smileynew:

No mods of course is a big disadvantage but there are a lot of DLC's on 15 as far as I can see.
May be they can be enough.

Logging is really not my thing but I love using Jenz chipper and if I get 15 I will definitely use it

One of the most concerning things for me is the money cheat box.
You see, I just don't like to be hold back to use the equipment I like because of money.
I want to be free on that respect but it seems there is no way of doing that right?

No money cheat box but you can get money quick from logging. Silage is huge in 15 as well but logging was slightly nerfed. Prices only change on the hour as well so don't drop as soon as you sell. Great demands pay way over the normal price as well and have a visivle timer.

I've heard the silage is actual gold in 15. That is one way to go.

Hourly price changes can also help.

And great demands being like that is also a good thing for me I guess.

This topic is going way better than I've thought.
I'm gathering a lot of clues here.
Really appreciate your help Guil. Thanks a lot *thumbsup* *thumbsup*

No prob. There was times when I was getting almost 30000 per bucket of silage using the telehandler or wheelloader. Both have 4500L bucket.

Ahahahahaha I know I sound like that but not yet.

I hope other fellow farmers would share their opinions.

I'll just wait for a while before spending that kind of money.

Maps in FS 15 are much better than those in FS 17. Not counting mods of course.
