I am having trouble figuring out why the RSM1403 Forage harvester is not picking up tedded grass. I have the pick up on it and when I run over the tesded grass it reverts it back to normal grass in the tipper. The tipper is suppose to take dry grass so I dunno what's wrong. Whether its a bug or I'm doing something wrong. Please help! Lol

That's intended. You can't use a forage harvester on hay.

You will want a loading wagon for that. Or a baler.

Are there harvesters in real life that are smaller than the ones in FS17?

Saw that mod map with the tiny fields and it made me wonder.

I'm fascinated by miniature versions of things so I'm hoping there is a tiny harvester the size of a riding lawn mower or something.

I guess it's all relative to the ground you're working. Around here we use a lot of 4 row corn headers but we call our fields 'pumpkin patches' when comparing to the big fields in the Dakota's

First I'm playing on the switch Edition hope somebody has experience with that...

I had the game on 3DS and when I had a trailer full of product I could have a worker automatically drive to a selling point....

Is this feature available in the switch edition if so please how do I get it to work?

Yes. On most maps, simply drop the bale in the animal feeding area and it will disappear.

I thought you needed a primor to grind the bale down back into hay.

Does this work with other bales too?

All bales work this way on most maps. You can still use a straw blower if you want but it is not needed.
