Re: New to farming? Ask questions here:
You can't edit terrain in console. Unless you use the grass be gone mod. Never used it myself so not sure if it's useful to you or not

Does loose silage have the same value as bailed silage when sold? I know the quantities are different but is the value the same? And what would be an advantage to bailing and wrapping it as opposed to just picking it up with a forage wagon? Thanks
Re: New to farming? Ask questions here:
Bailing and wrapping is instant silage. Loose silage you need to let it ferment

Re: New to farming? Ask questions here:
There is also a difference in selling price, since loose silage fluctuates and is subject to price drops but bales are a fixed price.
Istr on normal difficulty, silage bales go for around 2000/bale, this is about 500/1000l, so if you sell silage at more than 500, it's more profitable than bales.
Note that seasons nerfs the price of bales to the point that it's almost always more profitable to sell loose silage.
I like making bales, and having stacks of them around my map, so when I come to sell them I drop them in a feed mixer and unload it onto a conveyor feeding the biogas plant's hopper. With a bit of planning and practice I can keep the mixer unloading constantly, so the price never drops until I've finished. A mod like glance is useful for keeping an eye on the mixers fill level, as if you overfill it the excess is lost (if the mixer has room for 2000l, and you drop a 4000l bale in there, you lose 2000l)

Are you on the Steam version or disc version? If Steam, make sure overlay is on then hit F12. If on disc, you can hit print screen then paste into MS Paint or whatever

Got it thanks! Now how do I hide the display on the screen to take nice pics?
