Hi. My friend have five color folie in wrapper. What is it caused?

I think everyone does plus, you csn make neat patterns with your bales.

Technicaly the color of the wrap doesn't do much. (one would think of sun absorbing and deflecting in case of white and black, but that's not doing anything)
Advantages of multiple color wraps are to recognize different batches.
Sometimes you even see double armed wrappers using 2 different colors to make a third recognizing option (e.g. white bales, black bales and black/white bales)

Speciallity is the pink wrap, made to support breast cancer.


Out of the above given color options do miss 2 sorts of green, an olive green and a aqua green. You see those colors alot overhere. But, can't have everything right?

Don't know, I only have the white, black, pink and green(ish). No blue to be seen in my game.

As for color function. White is used on warmer days/climates, de bale gets less hot in the sun, Black used on colder days/climates and helps the bale get warm in the sun, those two can be used to control the fermentation rate. The pink is used as a funny marshmallow variant. It's like there are lots of huge marshmallows in the fields. The green is just see thru foil and cheaper than the white and black.

well... technically black is all the colors and white is the absence of color but opaque.

Ok seriously though, where did that weird blue come from? I don't think I have it. I've only selected green with the baler combo and the wrapper.

Not a farmer here, but I did do a bit of reading (for whatever that's worth) and some tests show that a lighter color wrap does better than darker. The black wrap gets hotter and tends to let more oxygen into the bale thus increasing spoilage. Of course, this would depend on climate too. I think I'll change up the color every time I bale just to keep track of different "batches" like the above poster.

In the UK the pink wrap came along for breast cancer awareness, blue later followed for prostate cancer awareness.

Some use different colours black/white for different seasons bales.
