Honestly Rbk_3, I'm not positive but I believe it's 1080p HD

Would this graphics card be what I'm looking for to upgrade?

I just bought a new ideapad 510 for general use other than gaming, and was thinking maybe I could run farm sim on that, and to my surprise, it runs on medium and high settings. This is probably the only game I will run on it, as for my ps4 plays the others that I can't on Pc. So I'll try not to ask very many questions on how to do stuff, but this does open a lot more for me for the game.

How much money have you got for a graphics card.

I would put in at the very least a Geforce GTX960 or something like it.
But again what power supply have you got, need at least a 500w I think to be safe.

A prebuilt with integrated graphics, I would suspect he most certainly will need a new power supply.

No, that thing released 5 years ago and was a budget card then. Like the above poster said, try and find minimum Nvidia GTX 960.

Thank you for you replies. That is the most powerful graphics card my PC can take without upgrading the power supply, which is currently 300w. I will upgrade it if necessary, not sure how to though, keep in mind that this isn't going to be a high end gaming PC just one that can play FS while mainly being for mine and my wife's business.

Something like this would be good as well.

As for the power supply they are fairly easy to change, If you can do a graphics card you could do the power supply as well. 500w would be suitable I think and would be good for a few years at least.

It's funny that you suggest that because I'm going to order the EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti FTW and I think I'm going to go ahead and upgrade the power supply to the 500w even though the graphics card says it will work on my existing 300w supply.

The 1050ti is basically on par with the 960, just newer and runs cooler. That is a good choice for a budget gaming PC :)
It should be about on par with the power of a PS4.

I would also recommend doubling your Ram up to 16GB if you can.

That would make for a pretty good PC that will likely be able to play FS19 pretty well also.

Awesome! I was hoping for a reply like that lol... How do I go about doing my ram? At this point I think I'm going to just little by little upgrade all components, we need a good PC for our business and the only game I play when I've got free time if FS17 and I want to have a system that can easily play it with some of the awesome mods out there without coming close to breaking the bank.

Ram is just sticks you click into your motherboard.

You likely have 2 sticks of 4GB, you may have 4 slots on your motherboard which you can add 2 more 4GB sticks, or you may have 2 slots, in which case you would have to buy 2 8GB sticks and replace the 4GB sticks.

It is more than likely DDR3 Ram, you need to double check before you buy. If you take a bicture of your motherboard I can tell you what you're working with.

RAM slots will look somthing like this on your motherboard. That's how they look with out the Ram in them

16gb ram is overkill imo.
