Texture quality is kindof poor but still not terrible. Thats one aspect where mods are worse then ingame equipment.

^^ Imo, there are already a lot of in-game models with only avarage texture quality. Both from the outside and from the inside.
Some mods are much better than in-game models. Again, imo, the best quality machines Giant put out so far for FS17 was BigBuds. All the equipment in that pack is really top notch in terms of modelling and textures. Still not from the interior point of view though.

I know everybody at Giants put some serious attention to the quality of the work they do. I've no doubt on that :hi:
And I really don't have any intentions of criticising people who respect their jobs but I've to say that in over 2500+ hours in the game, I've seen avarage to low quality textures in a lot of in-game models.
I say "avarage to low quality textures" compared to some of the mods out there.
Admittedly, this is not something to blame because as far as I can relate, high texture quality comes with a price which is being more slot counts.
Thus, in-game models should also be more affordable in terms of slot counts.
But still, if Giants is capable of creating those amazing textures with FS19 even if we are still limited in terms of RAM space and slot counts, may be keeping the in-game models of FS17 a notch over any mod would be a better idea while keeping the slot counts at bay.
But putting too much effort on FS17 at this point of course doesn't make too much sense.
So, go figure a customer whining about things even he accepts is not logical to work on :biggrin2: :biggrin2:
I'll show myself out. Thank you

I have tested the Fendt 1000 series on GCV and Sandy Bay. The rear window and bonnet/hood stutter on both maps so I checked the slot count and both have 600+ free.

That is interesting. Slot count was the only thing that solved my problem. I'm playing on Oakfield btw and I'm on regular PS4.

^^ :biggrin2: :biggrin2: it is just about knowing it. I mean, I know something doesn't work correctly and that bothers me even if I would never use it in anyway :biggrin2: the best solution though is your suggestion of course

^^Ok, I'll be honest it does sound like a ps4 problem, but it still sounds really weird. :hmm:
