40Hrs on a combine is nothing anything under 10k hrs is considered new. So we should at the vary least be able thru maintenance or pay a little money to reset the clock.

I have also encountered this, but realized it would be really unrealistic to put 10k hours on a map let alone a machine. But I do side with you on being able to repair vehicles.

Unrealistic yes, but it isn't the worst thing given the time scaling the game uses. Also the costs cap at 60 hours, so it really isn't too bad.

its my understanding the PC version of 17 has a repair mod. Couldn't someone in the modding community make it available for Xbox 1?

Really though, the repair mod is just a manual way to pay the maintenance costs. I've never sold a vehicle on this game because of the amount of hours it has on it.

exactly. You can harvest every field every 24 in game hours. So you can basically say every day is a year or crop season if your area with 2 harvest a year. So in 10 in game days your looking at 5 to 10 years of farming. So all in all its all unrealistic but relevant. The game was so easy in 15 they needed a way to make it a little harder.

Have 15 too. Bought 17 about a month after but wanted too play 15 out to max see if what i learned would help in 17 some things are simular others not.

Actually below 4000 hours is considered "newer" anything higher you notice a significant drop in price. Sorry I'm OCD about weird things lol

Firstly, the repair mod for PC isn't really any cheaper than just replacing the vehicle in question, but it does keep the hr. count on the machine for you if you opt to repair and keep the tractor.
There was also an error in the way Giants calculated the values use to figure depreciation cost and was discussed at https://fs-uk.com/forum/index.php?topic ... msg1268010 along with a solution mod posted.
