I started playing on this map yesterday. First I sold default equipment, collected all the gold nuggets - BTW I have played this map on FS13 and FS15 but that was the first time I actually toured the whole map - and took the loan from the bank. Then I bought some middle-sized machinery to start with.

Today I am starting the harvest. I think I will spend a lot of time working this map. Eventually I want to invest in animals and develop the farm as much as possible. Unless the new maps arrives.

And there's also Big Bud in line to purchase.

Not sure if anyone has done this with the feeding trough at the sheep but if you pick up the lely with the 3 point attachment on a tractor and drive up to the trough and set the lely on top of the "invisible box" that seems to be there, set it up like any other lely by driving it to the middle of the trough and setting it on 750, hire a worker for it and it works perfectly fine at keeping things clean, it looks like it's floating back and fourth but it works fine instead of constantly having to clean up, just thought I'd share

F18 beet harvest took me 3.9hrs with T40

Question about big bud, I noticed when looking at the big bud plow says something about needing a 3 point attachment doesn't big bud have a 3 point attachment already or do I really need to buy that piece that makes it 3 point?
Bought plot 11 for 925k had sunflowers on it already.
So I need to get big bud and a plow to do it when I clear the crop.

No BB does not have a 3pt hitch... Must get the trailed lifter to use the plows with BB.

You have more patience then I do friend. I could not stand it so I ended the mission by teleporting to one of my tractors.
