Isn't that what 17 is, an expansion of 15, which was an expansion of 13? A few extra features added in. You don't really think they will re-write 19 from scratch do you.

Why would Giants do that in the first place?
And even if they do, will we have any gainings on that?

Why would they ever call it an expansion (even though that is exactly what it will be)? They will copy/paste, add a few features (and from experience, they'll remove a couple useful ones) call it FS19 and charge full price. We'll pay for it

The only way I can see them making the next farming simulator PC Exclusive is if they didn't make a profit on consoles. Remember it's all about the squeaky wheel that gets the oil

I would venture a guess that they've made far more in sales to consoles than the PC version. There's just a much larger market. So much, in fact, that they made user-created mods available to console players. They wouldn't have bothered if sales weren't there. I'd also venture a guess that 90% of console players bought the game, played it a couple hours and discovered it's not GTA: Tractor Edition, and never touched it again.

Personally, I think the game has come along way from what it used to be in terms of play-ability, depth, content, and fan base. It's not perfect (no simulator is), but it's the best/most successful game of it's type at the moment.

But no, I'm sure FS19 will be for all the current platforms.

I would agree... console players add a lot to the Giants coffers... to exclude them you would need to be willing to take a big financial hit.... or charge PC only customers twice the price
