Sheep
Re: Sheep
Now I do but when I had 100 of each I was still filling up the 32k water trailer far more than the cows 32k water trailer. I would have thought the cows would use more but in the game they do not. We have cows however we don't measure there water we just have a auto drinker they stick their nose down in a bowel like fixture and they get all the water they want instead of water sitting in a trough getting dirty and slimey then you have to drain it clean the trough and refill it this way its much easier and zero evaporation.

Re: Sheep
I pile my pallets close to the sell point and then push them into it during a high demand

Re: Sheep
1. Place a water tower right next to water trough.
2. Buy the cheapest water trailer & a weight with a trailer hitch.
3. Park the trailer next to the trough/tower with the weight connected.
4. Refil & unload the trailer simultaneously. Leave the weight hooked to the trailer but drop it from your tractor.
5. Auto watering complete.
Works great when you're dealing with any number of animals.
Also, the frontloader attachment Wrapped bale loader from Tanco works well for picking up two pallets at a time & easily placing them on or in any trailer. No autoload on xbox, the struggle is real.

Re: Sheep
Wow! Now that's a lot of chow to keep up with! The 3500 sheep alone but throw in them cows, wows. I'd be interesded to see your grass mowing operation. I use MF forage harvester with any simple mower on front & a windrower on back, hired worker of course.
I've found that the Tanco only gets glitchy when you clip a building with it. One of the grabbers kinda gets *censored* (<--vacuumed) into the structure & won't let go easily.

Lol @ vacuumed What is the exact name of that Tanco tool? I'm having trouble finding it...
My operation isn't special tbh... I'll post a pic later on. I play without seasons, so food suffices for 6 days.
The spawning of woolpallets is another story though

Re: Sheep
In game it's called "'Tanco Autowrap' Wrapped bale handler", in the mod menu it's called "Tanco D80 Bale Stacker."
I have a seasons map but like you I prefer not to run seasons with my sheep. I'm currently trying to find the pinnacle of wool spawning. There's gotta be a perfect grass-to-wool equation in here somewhere lol. Like reproduction rate starts to level out so I would think wool production follows the same curve. Keeping up with 3500 head sounds a lot more fun though!

Re: Sheep
Thanks for the info, I'll put it in my graph. What's your max feeding capacity for 6 days?
