I'm looking for a good map for oldtimer

Post by pakitomercante »

Hello!! I want to play in a small map, good for oldtimer machines... Altenstein is not good for me (a lot of errors in the log). I want to try the MF pack by Blacksheep... So you know a good map for it? Thanks a lot!! :)

^^Chellington has the right feel to it, but those are some huge fields for them little tractors.^^

It's all in how long you're willing to work a field. Since the OP has had his share of Old Stream, I would suggest Lossberg. It's a beautiful map with lots of details and small fields.
FS22 is the best one yet. Fight me!

I'm playing Dreistern Hof at the moment and any tool over about 6m feels WAY too big. It's a quaint, well-done, well thought out map with just enough to do to keep you busy without overwhelming you.

Chellington? Seriously?

You couldn't even find that plow on F15 let alone plow it completely.

I have that map in my folder. It is a nice map. I stopped playing it when the Big Bud DLC was released. the buildings are in bad shape on the farm.

I'm waiting on shoe2s golden days of farming to get through testing. There is a thread on it under modding.

The MF pack? I don't think so. The map is smaller than it looks, which is in no way a bad thing. I would guess that a medium sized field took around 15 minutes to harvest with the smallest Case and header (the one that most games start with.) It has a feel very similar to Chellington - an old family farm rather than an industrial corporation - but with much smaller fields than Chellington.
