ok so I have only played 3 hours or so and I would like to play online but a lot of them require the dlc so I am wording what the dlc add does it just app more equipment or does it add more maps?

you can select also no DLC's for online play, and you'll play with people who don't have it either, i would try this first before paying extra stuff.

Once you have the addiction, and you can afford it, than consider it

There is actually more than one DLC already. You can find information about the contents of the DLCs on the following pages:

Also when it says you don't have required dlc it also means the mods as well that are available. When trying to go on mp and you see the exclamation mark in red next to a game there is a button for details. It will show exactly what you have missing that is needed for that specific game

I've already asked this in the kuhn thread, but maybe this thread is a better place... I've got 2 computers that i play on. If i buy DLC, can i use it on both pc's? or do i have to buy it twice?

Edit: I don't use steam. I've got the disc.

Yes you can activate it on both but only 1 can be online at a time.

Actually, you can use the same key for DLC's and nothing will get effected. Me and brother use the same DLC and nothing got declined. It's just the FS17 product key that can't play at the same time with the same key. DLC's, you can play together with same key.

I've purchased the Big Bud DLC, and it's downloaded and active on 1 pc. I've tried to copy it to the 2nd pc, and activate it, but activation fails. Maybe i need to get the 2nd pc connected to the internet, download it fresh, then try to use the key....

You need to connect to the internet before activating DLCs. FS17 you can do offline with the product key, but DLCs need internet activation.
