What do you do with your manure and slurry
What do you do with your manure and slurry
Hi, I am just wondering what you guys are doing with the manure and slurry from the animals. I can't seem to think it's worth trucking 800k slurry or manure over and selling it. I tried bailing it but it didn't yield a lot of money either. And my workers fertilize while they seed so I don't use it to spread either. Right now I'm just letting it sit at max level.
Re: What do you do with your manure and slurry
Change your fertilizer setting from one to three, buy a slurry tank and manure spreader and have at it.
I think there's a mod somewhere that turns them into fertilizer.

Yes, if you are not fertilizing 3 times then they would have no use.
May be if you use seeders that don't fertilize.

I use it for fertilizing and then sell the rest.

I sell it all and use the BGA digestate to fertilize
Re: What do you do with your manure and slurry
For what I am doing right now, all my seeders use fertilizer and my helper does the work. So unless I add a step I see no point right now. For the guys selling it, what is your rig set up? Do you string a few trailers together and just make the trips to bga.
Re: What do you do with your manure and slurry
Like gmfarmer420 said, use manure for greenhouses. On hard mode they offset the upkeep cost quite a bit, and on other modes they are a good income generator.
Using slurry on your fields will save you money.

I use both for fertlising and I never seem to get enough of it. Though with my number of animals (10k pigs and 2k cows) I'm sometimes hitting the 800k L storage limit for slurry.

I play on maps that have a separator facility. Sell manure and slurry to the bga to get digestate. Take that to a facility that produces bio fuel, solid, and liquid fertilizer. So your turning for animal by products into regular fertilizer and fuel and making some money off it at the same time. Honestly I would change fertilizer states to 3 regardless of what you try to do. I played on 1 for a while to speed up the process and it got old quick.

Re: What do you do with your manure and slurry
It's a good idea to turn animal manure into available fertilizer.
Generally, it can be done by manure separator.
But there is one problem, these fertilizers can be used in plants or ornamental flowers. Never use them in crops.
Because there are a lot of drugs in the feed of the farm.
Can go to the website of some manure separator(https://www.zhehanfilter.com/solid-liqu ... rator.html) manufacturers to consult, after all, they are professional.

I use it to fertilize my fields, i put manure or slurry down first, i plant, then fertilize again, 200 cows and pigs fill those up really fast. That's why i kinda like to have cows at the beginning so i have some manure or slurry to put on my fields, save a bit of money that way.

Cow dung must not be directly applied to the field. How do you deal with it?BigC92 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:06 am I use it to fertilize my fields, i put manure or slurry down first, i plant, then fertilize again, 200 cows and pigs fill those up really fast.
