Think of this, instead of planting saplings you can plant half grown trees with one of these bad boys.
You could also remove trees and plant them somewhere else or even sell them.

Yes, I saw a video of this a while back and thought it looked pretty interesting - they can relocate trees with it :)

Cool, but not new. They've been doing that for years. Getting a full grown tree planted costs a fair bit, though. I've actually seen them do it first hand a few decades ago. Its definitely cool.

I saw a documentary many years ago about massive machines, there was a semi trailer version of which can lift bigger trees

Looks good but I'm sick of the sight of the 100 trees I planted on CPF.....don't want a mod that moves them I just want a mod box of matches

Might be a cool addition for moving trees. You could move a badly positioned tree instead of cutting it down. It wouldn't be practical to plant fully grown trees for forestry, though.

I wonder if this game will ever have the old fashioned Dig little hole put seed in? Or just get the Squirrels and Birds to do it.
