"A BETA mod on GIANTS Modhub is any PC ONLY mod that is uploaded for release. To get your mods as "Tested" or "Non-BETA", you must either release the mod for both PC and Console, or have released 3 high quality, popular mods for PC." Came from bulletbill

Actually, the 3 mod to console thing is kind of a myth. There's a few mods on console that break this rule

If you release a mod which is for both PC and Console (exactly the same version) this will be put straight into the "tested" or "non beta" section, regardless as to whether you have released mods previously on Modhub.FordFarmer97 wrote:Actually, the 3 mod to console thing is kind of a myth. If you only release PC mods then according to GIANTS Modhub guidelines you will only be allowed to have your mods as Non-beta if GIANTS deem that you have released at least 3 high quality popular mods.

A beta version of a program, game etc... is an unfinished version released to either the public a select few or whoever signs up to beta test it for bugs or glitches.
