Though I must say, with the vast difference in both quantity and quality of mods on pc vs console, I won't be surprised if more players go this route. With games like Pure Farming and others on the way, I honestly believe that FS will be somewhat short lived for consoles unless something changes. I really believe that Giants could do more to improve the game via updates, releasing their own (inhouse mods) or adapting those of others. I'm sure this post will tick off some people and make me seem like a hater.. But I'm as big a FS fan that there is and I've spent hundreds of hours playing this game.. But the major lack of content on consoles will likely see me hesitate before buying FS19.

Hope things get better down the road--Giants has great people and made a great game, but need to step it up once more
I agree with you statement, FS19 will be short lived if giants games dont do something big...

BTW a lot of things have happened between that quote you posted and now and later this year. FS on consoles won't have any major competition for a while

HDMI cable usually.

That's how my monitor is connected to my PC. I say monitor but it's actually a TV being used as a monitor until I can buy a decent 100hz+ monitor.

My wallet is still not happy after buying all the parts for my PC....

Just be aware that sometimes a PC connected to a tv can look stuff especially if you are cloe to it. That's what I read anyway when I was looking for a monitor.

Half true guil.. Monitors do consistently look better when paired with a pc but it also depends on the tv.. I've found that some tv's (nothing special like 4k res or anything like that) just naturally seem sharper.. Also.. The key to sitting close is don't get a giant tv then sit right on top of it.. If u will be at a desk using a tv as a monitor I recommend about 20 inches with about 24 being the max

Got to agree with you Guil. The TV than I'm using as a monitor currently looks stuff. It's a 27inch lcd 50hz TV. And yea it's awful. Still better than what I had with the xbox but yea. Just small writing can be blurry. And nothing is super sharp. But it's all I had available to me.

Unfortunately I don't have a few hundred pounds to spare to splash on a decent monitor at the moment.

Still, the move over to PC was the most worthwhile investment I've ever made gaming wise.

Edit: I have no idea how old the TV is I'm using. But pretty old. So probably the main reason it looks pants generally.

Some 40" 4K TVs can be good as large monitors and have acceptable input lag (not compared to a freesync or g-sync combination, but to a standard monitor). They lack the colour accuracy of a pro monitor (as does every gaming monitor), but are perfectly usable if you can get used to the physical size.

For productivity a 40" 4K monitor is close to as good as it gets. Gaming, well it depends on the game, but strategy games will generally be good, and Farm Sim looks great, but Blender and Giants Editor is where they really shine.
