Keeping it in order

Call my fussy but I like keeping my vehicles in alphabetical order, the problem is when I change the vehicles configuration in any way it resets that vehicle. Can this be changed does anybody know?

I think on consoles you cannot change the order unless you reset each vehicle to the shop in the order that you want (or the reverse order that you want - not sure which.)

What??? Are you talking about the viewing order under the map tab of the menu??? Can we alter that order???

Ordering and switching between vehicles is definitely an area GIANTS need to look at for FS19. Not sure anything can or will be done to improve the situation in the current version. I wonder how this aspect will be handled by the competitors when their games come out?

I'm the same way like to keep groups of vehicles together. so then when you buy new ones or sell old ones I have to reset them all to get them back in order.

I also keep them in specific orders. Specially combines together with graincart tractors so it is instant switching between them during harvest.

So do you reset them in the order that you want to switch between them? Is that how it works?

The only ones I have in a specific order is my 3090 and the 27. That way I can instantly switch to the cart tractor

I'm glad I'm not alone with this, it would be simple to have one brand or a small fleet but not as fun also I don't like having more then one of the same model. Thanks for all the replies.

I'm pretty sure that resetting any vehicle changes the order under the map tab as well. I think that it runs newest (most recently purchased or reset) to oldest. Before I discovered a vehicle order switching mod (I'm on PC, sorry) I used to reset them in the order that I wanted. Then when I had to reset one because I drove it like an *$#%§*, I had to go through it all over again. This is one of the simple things that Giants could either include in FS19 or change now.
